Scientific interests:
We use various techniques from formulations of first principles, as well as classical molecular dynamics simulations to tackle different systems related to the condensed matter, and more specifically to the development of functional materials. We try to get insights into (1) the fundamental physical chemical properties controlling phenomena related to photocatalysis activity and sensor capacity; (2) the metallic growth effect induced by electron/laser irradiation; (3) the reaction mechanisms of the electro-oxidation of polyols; (4) chemical and structural properties of supported Linear Atomic Chains (LACs). (5) We also use a computational design of novel cutin derivative biopolymers from artificial monomers.
